Mia Montgomery is more than just a pretty face. The curly-haired, bright-eyed little girl that joined Cozy for a recent spot on the Today Show is not only a model, but a model citizen. Instead of asking for a big birthday party for her seventh birthday, she asked for help to feed the homeless.

On a trip to NYC last year, Mia saw several homeless people on the street and wanted to figure out a way to help. She enlisted her parents’ help first, and they planned to create bags of food and basic necessities to pass out to people living on the street. As word spread of Mia’s mission, local businesses added their support and together they helped Mia create a hot meal and personal supply bags (including hand-written cards from Mia) for 300 homeless men and women in Camden, New Jersey last month.

It seems that everybody who crosses paths with Mia gets inspired to make the world a better place, including all of us at SoCozy. We can’t wait to see Mia’s birthday wish next year!
