You might never meet eight-year-old Sa’Fyre Terry, but you can still personally help make her holiday wish come true. A little girl who has lost nearly everything, including her family in an arson fire three years ago, Sa’Frye wants very little this Christmas. Her wish? Cards from around the world to fill her thrift-store Christmas tree.
Her aunt and guardian, Liz Dolder, was inspired to help and posted her wish in a Facebook post. And when the first card came in, “it was like she won the lottery,” said Dolder.
The message continues to spread, and now it’s spread to you. There’s still time to fill out your own card and mail to Sa’Frye and join in. A PO box has been set up and the cards are flowing in.

“She’s a living message to people that there’s hope, and no matter what you can get through anything,” Dolder said. “That’s why we share Sa’fyre with everyone.”
