Quinoa Reports: Behind the Scenes at Cat and Jack Runway Show
Quinoa here, reporting from behind the scenes at the dress rehearsal for the launch of the new Cat & Jack clothing line by Target (pronounced “Tarzshay”). I think we can all agree that the only redeeming thing about a new school year is the fresh new fashions that go along with it.
So, underneath the Brooklyn Bridge this weekend, with a production value known only to my personal play dates, Cat & Jack is set to wow. Of course, these fresh styles can only be matched by on-trend hairstyles created by my friends at SoCozy. (Back to school is no time for amateurs!)
And even though you’ll have to wait for the full runway show, I’m sharing some sneak peek shots of what you can expect: styles so awesome, you’ll be tempted to go back to school early.
Let’s take a look at some of my faves:
Cape? Check. Boots? Check. Braids and curls? Check and check. Elaborate party details? CHECK. Consider this entire scene Quinoa-approved.
Check out this side-swept fishtail braid paired with a crochet top: perfection. (And I know perfection.)
What about bob? This look is back and can get dressed up with some loose curls. Second grade, watch out. You’re about to get fabulized.

Proof that boys are never too cool for a little time in the styling chair.
Oh look, one of the models is literally running back to school early! (Who can blame her? That skirt is magical.)
