There are a lot of great ways to show love in February, but we’re especially inspired by our friends at STATE bags who are teaming up with The Giving Keys to open the love spouts and pour it on thick for some very deserving women.

On February 2^nd, these two companies are hosting a Valentines Party at the Pine Street School in downtown Manhattan. The guest list is made up of women from Project Renewal, a nonprofit that supports women in New York City struggling to overcome homelessness, addiction and mental illness. The festivities include a day of makeovers, music, entertainment and gifts that—including a STATE bag and a custom SHINE Giving Key, and much more. These women will have the opportunity to feel the love and support of a greater community around them (and have some fun too).

But maybe the best part of this endeavor is that everyone can be involved. Throughout February, every product sold at STATE will directly fund this 2016 Spread the Love Initiative, offering direct support to this population of women in New York City.

So, before you shop for the loves in your life this Valentine’s Day, you might consider gifts that also give to someone in need. It’s a great way to exponentially spread love to those you know and those you don’t.
